My Intuitive Eating journey began about 5 years ago while I was pregnant with my daughter. I knew I wanted to pass on and instill a loving relationship with food and body to her, but I had some work to do. A close friend and fellow dietitian recommended the book Body Kindness by Rebecca Scritchfield, RDN. Let me tell you, the light bulb didn’t just go off, but exploded. The message touched my soul. It was a stellar ah-ha moment not only personally, but professionally. It is what led me to Intuitive Eating and from there I took a leap down the rabbit hole and never looked back.
